Overview
The platform
Selector extends its proven AIOps analytics engine into enterprise wireless environments. Selector’s scalable wireless monitoring solution ingests metrics, events, inventory, and client experience data from leading WLAN platforms, then applies the same normalization, enrichment, and AI-driven correlation that customers already rely on for wired, WAN, and data center operations.
The result
A single pane of glass across the full client-to-application path: Wi-Fi issues are automatically connected to switch ports, WAN circuits, and applications, so teams stop stitching data together across vendor consoles and start resolving incidents in minutes.
Why wireless operations break down
Siloed tools, no shared intelligence
Each vendor tool has different KPIs, dashboards, and alert models. Operators stitch data together manually across consoles.
Visibility stops at domain boundaries
Most wireless tools monitor RF well but stop short of full-path root cause. Teams manually connect Wi-Fi issues to switch ports, WAN circuits, and apps.
Alert noise without context
Static vendor thresholds flood NOCs without cross-domain correlation or per-site ML baselines to filter signal from noise.
Cross-team coordination overhead
Every siloed tool means another console, skill set, and integration — increasing operating cost per incident and extending MTTR.
How Selector wireless monitoring works
Selector’s wireless integrations are based on SNMP, API, and webhook events — and can ingest any available source, such as SNMP traps and syslog. Telemetry is normalized into a common wireless data model and correlated with existing wired LAN and WAN context on the Selector platform.
Unified multi-vendor wireless view
Monitor site and wireless device (WLC, AP) health across vendors such as Mist, DNAC, Meraki, and Arista CUE with consistent KPIs — availability, RF metrics, and client experience in one dashboard.
Cross-domain correlated alerts
Apply the same AI correlation engine across wireless, wired, and WAN telemetry. Reduce alert storms and isolate root cause across the full network path.
Flexible data ingestion
Cloud-to-cloud API, webhook events, and SNMP polling — flexibly expandable to any other source as available, like syslog and SNMP traps.
Agentic workflow with Rosetta & ChatOps
Query wireless health in natural language, retrieve operational data instantly, and accelerate Tier-1 investigation without deep RF expertise.

Who uses Selector wireless monitoring
Operations & Assurance
NOC and network operations teams reduce MTTR and resolve cross-domain incidents without switching between siloed vendor consoles.
Correlated alerts
AI-driven noise reduction across wireless, wired, and WAN signals.
Site health monitoring
Identify healthy, degraded, or unhealthy sites from availability, RF, and client KPIs.
Cross-domain diagnostics
Isolate whether slowness is RF, upstream switch/PoE, WAN latency, or application.
ITSM integration
Enrich alerts and create ServiceNow incidents with correlated context.
Wireless Engineering & Planning
RF and wireless engineering teams get vendor-agnostic depth for tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
RF visibility
Air quality, radio noise, interference, and channel utilization at site and AP level.
Client experience analysis
RSSI, SNR, TX/RX rates, band distribution, and client inventory per AP.
Proactive baselines & inventory
ML per-site anomaly detection; unified AP/WLC hardware, firmware, and location metadata.
Wireless observability capabilities
Multi-vendor wireless ingestion
Native integrations for Juniper Mist, Cisco DNAC (Catalyst Center), Cisco Meraki, and Arista CUE. Additional wireless vendors integrate easily wherever data sources are available for ingestion.
Site-level health monitoring
Healthy / degraded / unhealthy classification based on WLC/AP availability and KPI violations.
AP-level KPI monitoring
Availability and RF environment metrics — air quality, radio noise, interference, channel utilization.
Client experience metrics
RSSI, SNR, TX/RX rates, band distribution, client count.
Pre-built dashboards
Sites, WLC/AP KPI Health, Client Stats, Raw Telemetry — per vendor platform.
Cross-domain correlation
Client ↔ wireless (APs, WLCs) ↔ switch ↔ WAN ↔ application.
AI/ML baselines
Per-site anomaly detection; learn normal vs. anomalous behavior.
Selector Rosetta (NLQ)
Natural-language wireless queries and multi-step investigation.
Digital Twin / DVR playback
